We are thrilled to announce that Kate Bosworth of Doar, Drill & Skow has been nominated as a Fellow to the Wisconsin Law Foundation. This prestigious nomination is a testament to Kate’s outstanding contributions to the legal profession and her dedication to serving the community.
The Wisconsin Law Foundation Fellows program is a prestigious recognition bestowed upon attorneys who exemplify the highest standards of professional competence, ethics, and public service. Being nominated as a Fellow is a significant honor, as it recognizes an attorney’s outstanding contributions to the legal community and their commitment to furthering the ideals of justice and fairness.

Kate has been with the firm since 2014, and has been a managing partner since 2020. She received her degree in Political Science from the University of Nebraska in 2009, with distinction. She graduated law school in 2012 from the University of Minnesota, also with distinction. She has been recognized as an Up and Coming Lawyer by the Wisconsin Law Journal, and as a Super Lawyer Rising Star since 2019.
In addition to her success litigating complex personal injury and criminal defense matters, Kate actively volunteers her time and expertise to various pro bono programs, ensuring that those who cannot afford legal representation still have access to justice. Kate volunteers at the St. Croix County Free Legal Clinic, and regularly takes time away from her private practice to take public defender and court appointed cases to represent those who cannot afford to retain private counsel. She serves on the Wisconsin Association of Justice Board of Directors, which strives to ensure justice for all, not just a privileged few, by ensuring that anyone harmed due to workplace injury or the negligence of others can have a fair day in court, even against the most powerful defendants. Kate also recently co-founded Women Lawyers of the North, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and support of women lawyers in Northwestern Wisconsin.
As a Fellow, Kate Bosworth will join a select group of attorneys who have made significant contributions to the legal profession. This esteemed network provides a platform for collaboration, professional development, and community engagement, further enhancing their ability to effect positive change within the legal system.
On behalf of everyone at Doar, Drill & Skow, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Kate Bosworth on her nomination as a Fellow to the Wisconsin Law Foundation. This recognition is a testament to her exceptional legal skills, dedication to her clients, and commitment to making a positive impact on society.
