Contingency Cases

Resolving a personal injury case can be complex and expensive. At Doar, Drill & Skow, we understand the risk. This is why our personal injury cases, including contingency cases, are almost always handled on a contingent fee basis.

A contingent fee is a form of payment for a legal service in which the attorney’s fees depend on the success of the case. Under this agreement, we don’t receive paid fees until a settlement is reached or a decision is rendered. When successful, our fees will come from a percentage of the total sum awarded to you. Other cases may be handled on a flat fee or hourly basis.

What will you owe Doar, Drill & Skow if your injury case is not successful? Nothing. But if you have a legitimate case, there usually is a settlement or judgment, from which we will draw a certain percentage as our fee.

When you work with Doar, Drill & Skow, our priority is to pursue a fair settlement, work efficiently, and be your advocate no matter the compensation style.
